Wheels on Willy - excellent race! I'm proud to be a Dropout.

I felt like I animated the race. Peak 5 second power (830 Watts) was initiating a counter after the first prime, leading to five minutes away alone. I was hoping to tempt a breakaway partner to bridge but no luck. I lead Ryan Gist out to win a prime. Awesome teamwork feels great! My peak 30s power (529W) was to bridge up to a solo breakaway rider with 4 laps to go. We got caught with one to go. I was dead but sprinted anyway and I placed maybe 17 or so.

I'm really glad I decided to race, since I almost stayed home. Still getting over this cold, but apparently all my rest has me riding okay! I had a great time playing with the field and racin' with my homeys!
