As one of the oldest established cycling organizations in the Madison, WI area, the Brazen Dropouts is a team that can appeal to the experienced racer or anyone just looking to get into the sport! We primarily travel throughout Wisconsin for WCA road and cyclocross races, as well as the WORS mountain bike racing series. We strive to give back to the Wisconsin cycling community by hosting road and cyclocross races and by hosting one of the largest bike swaps in the Midwest every year in January. We hope to see you out on the road or at our next meeting!
The Brazen Dropouts are open to all cyclists:
- Juniors age 10-18 (boys & girls)
- Adults, all categories & disciplines, both men and women

2017 Race Season Preview
This year's race season is fast approaching and the Brazen Dropouts are ready for it. Many members have been training on and off the bike in the off-season to maintain and improve their base fitness in preparation for the first WCA races in April. Nine riders just returned from a training trip to the Ozark National Forest area in northern Arkansas for 3 days of intense riding. Additionally, the Juniors squad has been training indoors at Speed Cycling on Saturday's under the direction of Coach Andrew, and it looks like we could have one of the strongest Jr's groups in recent memory. Based on membership numbers, our strongest contingents for 2017 racing will likely be our Elite 3/4, 4/5, and Masters 3/4 groups, but don't count out several very strong women racers across all categories, and a handful of dedicated WORS racers in Comp and Sport.
We'll see you out on the road, trails, and at the races!
