BD Kit Redesign 2026

We are looking at a kit redesign for 2026. We’ve had the current kit for over 10 years, so we figured it might be time to refresh our look for the next decade.

These designs all represent basic concepts. We’ll take the winning designs to a professional designer to create a final kit concept, and then vote on whether to adopt it. And as always, there’s no obligation to buy new kit every year, so you can always wear your current BD kit!

We don’t want to re-design our kit every year, so when voting, consider that we will be using these designs for at least the next 3 years.

We have a standard kit, and alternate kit, and a gravel tee to design, so we can adopt up to 3 designs! Here are the member-generated submissions, in no particular order:

Mondrian

Simple, color blocks, bands and rectangles. Sponsor logos condensed and minimal. New font for BD

City Connection

City skyline, gradients, elements from Madison flag.

Option to invert the color scheme to make the primary color navy blue, and then fade into the BD blue.

Option to include elements of vaporwave (1, 2)

Geode

Like a cracked open geode

Update font to be a little retro, 70s style

Splotchy Color Block

Colors in various places over the jersey, pastel-like fades. Rothko-esque. Popular in the pro peloton these days!

Plaid

Crisscrossing lines to form a plaid

Elements from Madison flag

Lakes and Waves

Using the camo gravel tee as a starting point, increasing the size and variance of the camo splotches to create lakes and waves.

Could do this pattern only on part of the jersey, like the torso, and have solid sleeves.

Swoopy Color Block

Simple, classic. Color blocks in curves, not just straight lines.

Waves with Accent Sleeve

Wavy pattern on torso, black waist to blend to shorts

Accent sleeve, and maybe collar?

Pink for flamingo, or yellow for
Madison flag

Solo Jazz

Inspired by the iconic solo jazz cup.

Simple torso, block BD logo on the front

Classic Geodesic

The current BD design through the lens of a geodesic pattern.

Could do a corresponding white alternate

Zoomer Paradise

Inspired by the EF x Palace kit from a few years ago

We’ll replace the mountains with plain color splashes, but in the same colors.
